Chrombyte's MCP server gives ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any other MCP client the ability to run your Instagram — not just draft captions for it. Posts are generated against your real brand profile and product catalogue, then scheduled or published to your connected Instagram Business account through the official Graph API.

- Generate a Personal Access Token under Settings → Integrations & MCP.
- Add the server URL below to your MCP client — a custom plugin in ChatGPT, a custom connector in Claude, or an mcp.json entry in Claude Desktop and Cursor.
- Ask your assistant to list your connected accounts to confirm the link.

Frequently asked questions
Does this need a Meta developer app of my own?
No. Chrombyte holds the approved Instagram Graph API integration. You connect your account once in Chrombyte and the MCP server publishes through it.
Does it work with a personal Instagram account?
No, and no tool can — Instagram only permits third-party publishing for Business and Creator accounts linked to a Facebook Page. Converting is free and takes a couple of minutes in the Instagram app.
Can it post carousels and Reels, or only single images?
All three. Single images, 4-slide carousels generated as one seamless panorama, and Reels uploaded as MP4 up to 100 MB. Reel captions can be written from the video itself if you do not dictate them.
Do I need to write any code?
No. You generate a Personal Access Token in Chrombyte, paste one URL into your AI client, and the tools appear. There is nothing to install, host or deploy.
Is it safe to give an AI assistant access?
The token reaches your Chrombyte workspace only — brand profiles, posts and connected accounts. It never exposes your Meta password or payment details, and you can revoke it from Settings at any time, which cuts access immediately. Every tool declares whether it reads or writes, so clients can ask you to confirm before anything is published or deleted.
Which social accounts can it publish to?
Instagram Business and Creator accounts, and Facebook Pages — images, carousels and Reels, scheduled or published immediately. LinkedIn is not supported yet. Each account is connected once inside Chrombyte; the AI client never handles your social logins.
What does it cost?
MCP access is included with your Chrombyte plan, including the free tier. Credits are consumed by image and video generation, not by connecting or scheduling.
